Our client is an innovative, respected and leading provider of data solutions. Through assisting customers with their unique data quality challenges, our client provides comprehensive solutions and services for data quality projects combining a market leading software with a vast scope of reference data assets and services all designed to deliver operational efficiency and improve customer engagement. Due to ongoing growth within their sector, they now have an exciting and rare opening for a Business Development Manager to target new and existing accounts from their SW London office.

As a Business Development Manager, you will:

  • Drive profitable revenue and increase customer share by building strong customer relationships and brand reputation with new, existing, warm or group accounts
  • Be responsible for leading the way into target market segments and increasing the client share, crafting opportunities and pitching data quality solutions
  • Focus on new/existing business, leverage internal and external referrals and testimonials to generate new revenue, significantly increase the closing rate and manage a large international territory
  • Spend time targeting warm new business
  • Specifically focus on the Telco, Utility and Public Sector

Applications are invited from:

  • Sales candidates who have a minimum of 3-5 years business to business sales experience, specifically gained within a client facing, customer centric capacity
  • Those with an emphasis for delivering complex sales
  • Experienced candidates with technology, software or information related sales experience
  • Those who have first class communication and presentation skills, the ability to liaise at the highest of levels and the commitment to deliver sales solutions inline with strategic account objectives
  • Polished individuals with a proven record of sales success (account win and growth), a determination to develop a lengthy and lucrative sales career and a desire for career advancement
  • Candidates with knowledge / experience of selling into Telco, Utility or Public Sector markets

The successful candidate will be offered a 45-50k base salary with an uncapped OTE of 90k, plus a full and overly generous benefits package.
