Our client is a premium information company and one of the world’s foremost independent global advisory firms, providing reports, forecasts and analytical tools covering many industrial sectors, cities and countries. With their growing team of professional economists, industry experts and business editors they deliver a full range of research techniques and thought leadership capabilities, from econometric modelling, scenario framing, and economic impact analysis to market surveys, case studies, expert panels, and web analytics. Due to continued growth throughout the Nordic region, they now have an exciting opening for a Business Development Manager to further build upon their success across numerous Sectors.

As a client facing Business Development Manager, you will:

  • Join a performing team based in London, selling into the Nordic region
  • Focus on developing subscription revenue streams from within a variety of vertical markets (finance, manufacturing, industrial etc.)
  • Have access to our clients leading intelligence, information and bespoke solutions
  • Identify and close opportunities of varying value throughout a large and lucrative territory
  • Deliver new business, account management and retention sales revenue

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be educated to degree level (finance or economics based)
  • Speak fluent Danish, Finish, Norwegian or Swedish
  • Be intelligent, inquisitive and possess a minimum of 3+ years proven new business sales experience
  • Have sold into a broad range of sectors
  • Have previously sold technology or a similar subscription based product / solution
  • Possess business acumen, motivation and a dynamic yet professional approach to sales and account management
  • Demonstrate first class communication and presentation skills and the ability to liaise with customers at C level

The successful candidate can expect a negotiable base salary of 35-50k dependent upon prior work experience. This role also offers an uncapped first year OTE of 60-4-75k plus additional benefits and ongoing progression.
