As a growing strategic insight agency with an impressive account base, which includes many leading brands, our client delivers a social intelligence platform used by corporate marketers worldwide. With a portfolio of solutions covering social and audience intelligence, media marketing and big data analytics, they are well placed to track content spreads, map brand audiences and truly measure social reach. They now have an exciting opening for a Player- Manager to inherit a performing sales team.

As a London based Sales Manager, you will:

  • Lead a team of 3 experienced Business Development Sales Executives, selling an audience intelligence platform to agencies
  • Lead by example through the development / management of a personal sales pipeline
  • Manage the team through KPI development, 1-2-1s and regular sales coaching
  • Work closely with senior management on developing and delivering sales strategy
  • Travel throughout Europe to close sales / assist colleagues
  • In this classic hands-on sales management role, cover all aspects from territory planning to sales training, recruitment, client presentations, reporting and much more

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be a high calibre graduate from a top UK university
  • Possess 4+ years of relevant sales experience gained in a data, digital or software based environment (solid agency experience required)
  • Show recent career progression with 1+ years experience in a current sales management / team leadership position
  • Be an inspirational Player-Manager, a leader who teams perform for and a coach / mentor to professionals at varying levels
  • Demonstrate outstanding communication and organisation skills
  • Have an entrepreneurial flair, strong negotiations skills and demonstrable business acumen

The successful candidate can expect a base salary circa 40-65k with an uncapped 70-95k OTE plus an excellent benefits package.
