As a leading IT consulting company, our client uses innovative technologies and solutions to help companies evaluate and select the best enterprise solutions for their unique business requirements. To help deliver on key projects, they have an immediate need in Brisbane for a Senior Network Engineer.
  
As a Senior Network Engineer, you will:  

• Design, implement, monitor, and maintain both LAN and WAN solutions
• Monitor network performance  and perform network analysis
• Identify and troubleshoot network issues
• Work closely with infrastructure engineers, business analysts, presales engineers, IT Managers, and vendors
• Manage network security (access control, intrusion detection, and prevention)
• Develop and maintain documentation (architecture, diagrams, policies, and procedures, etc.)
• Implement disaster recovery solutions

To be successful in this role, you will possess the following skills, experience, and traits:  

• 3+ Years experience in network engineering
• Deep understanding of the complexities of Network Architecture, Technology, and Design
• Cisco, Fortinet, and/or Extreme Networks certification and experience
• Strong knowledge of network protocols
• Network security technologies
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills
