Responsibilities of the Commercial Sales Director:
- Drive brand awareness, lead generation, new business development, and manage commercial contracts.
- Lead, manage, and coach a small but growing team of sales and marketing professionals.
- Support leadership in developing and implementing a go-to-market strategy to enable rapid growth.
- Oversee contract renewals and negotiate terms.
- Manage the financial aspects of the business, ensuring commercial success.
- Build and maintain key stakeholder relationships.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices.
- Proven experience as a Commercial Director or in a similar role.
- Strong commercial acumen with a focus on driving revenue growth.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Strategic thinking and creative problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing both short-term and long-term sales processes.
- Familiarity with the challenges of early-stage scaling.
- Results-oriented with a proven track record of achieving challenging targets.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Competitive base salary of £100-120k.
- High, uncapped first-year OTE of £200k.
