Commercial Sales Director - SaaS
London - Hybrid
£100-120k Base, Uncapped £200k OTE + Executive Benefits

Our client is a leading provider of software and professional services designed to manage risk, compliance, and safety. With an extensive client base spanning both public and private sectors, they offer a comprehensive portfolio of professional support and software/SaaS services for large-scale projects. Their expertise includes health and safety, fire safety, accessibility, emergency planning, disaster recovery, and business continuity. As part of their ongoing
expansion, they are seeking a London-based Commercial Sales Director.
 
Responsibilities of the Commercial Sales Director:
  • Drive brand awareness, lead generation, new business development, and manage commercial contracts.
  • Lead, manage, and coach a small but growing team of sales and marketing professionals.
  • Support leadership in developing and implementing a go-to-market strategy to enable rapid growth.
  • Oversee contract renewals and negotiate terms.
  • Manage the financial aspects of the business, ensuring commercial success.
  • Build and maintain key stakeholder relationships.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices.
Skills, Traits, and Experience Required:
  • Proven experience as a Commercial Director or in a similar role.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a focus on driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Strategic thinking and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Experience managing both short-term and long-term sales processes.
  • Familiarity with the challenges of early-stage scaling.
  • Results-oriented with a proven track record of achieving challenging targets.
  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
