Sales Manager (Player-Manager) – B2C
50-60k Base, + Bonus + Options + Excellent Benefits
As an easy-to-use and well-visited platform, Our client helps homeowners identify and qualify green energy initiatives. To meet growth expectations, they now have an exciting opening for a Player- Manager to inherit a performing sales team.
As a London-based Sales Manager, you will:  
  • Lead a team of 7 Sales Executives
  • Lead by example through the development/management of a personal sales pipeline
  • Manage the team through KPI development, 1-2-1s, and regular sales coaching
  • Work closely with senior management on developing and delivering sales strategy and best practices
  • Motivate a high-performing team
  • In this classic hands-on sales management role, cover all aspects from planning to sales training, recruitment, reporting, and much more
The ideal Sales Manager will possess the following skills, traits, and experience:  
  • 2-4+ years sales leadership
  • B2C exposure
  • Green energy or home improvement sector experience (preferred)
  • An inspirational Player-Manager, a leader who teams perform for, and a coach/mentor to professionals at varying levels
  • Outstanding communication and organisation skills
  • An entrepreneurial flair, strong negotiations skills and demonstrable business acumen
The successful Sales Manager can expect:  
  • A base salary circa 50-60k
