Our Cambridge based client is a fast-growing and dynamic creative agency with extensive creative design and digital expertise. Through their highly trained workforce, they deliver a first-class service across multiple channels including strategy, branding, digital and PR. To meet their continued growth, they now require an experienced Account Director.

As an experienced agency-based Account Director, you will:

  • Manage and lead all marketing strategies for a strong portfolio of existing accounts
  • Promote the expansion of business services within existing clients
  • Working with senior managers to secure new accounts
  • Deliver multiple projects on schedule and within an agreed budget
  • Utilise your skills to push clients and the agency, both creatively and strategically 
  • Attend client meetings and deliver creative briefs
  • Proof anything that leaves the agency
  • Work with the team to develop creative and technical briefs, estimates, statements of work and detailed project specifications
  • Translates client requests and requirements into detailed (and sometimes technical) briefs
  • Gain a deep understanding of business requirements, customers, competitors, marketplace and business opportunities

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Demonstrate significant experience gained in a similar agency-based role
  • Show the ability to plan and strategise at a senior level
  • Possess a persuasive and confident approach to creative projects
  • Have excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Possess a keen attention to detail and budgetary restraints
  • Have a thorough awareness of creative processes and techniques – including digital platforms

The successful candidate will be offered a 45-55k base salary with a full and overly generous benefits package, plus additional incentives.
