Account Director – Financial Research
60-65k Base, 100-110k OTE + Executive Benefits
Our international client is a leading source of market research for the Investment Banking industry. Their leading service helps companies of all sizes address complex and often strategic issues through providing data and information on Private Equity and Hedge Funds. Due to continued growth, they now have an immediate opening for an experienced Account Director to lead from the front.
As a London based Account Director, you will:
Lead by example through the development/management of an existing account pipeline
Seek out opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell solutions
Increase usage, engagement and value delivery across all accounts
Lead a team of Associates and Account Managers, with a remit to grow as required
Improve team performance through KPI development, 1-2-1s and regular sales coaching
Create best practices
In this classic hands-on Player-Manager role, cover all aspects from headcount planning to sales training, recruitment, client presentations, reporting and much more
The ideal candidate will:
Be sales first, management second (Revenue management is key to the success of this role)
Possess 4+ years of relevant account management experience gained in a finance-focused field
Be experienced in managing a full client lifecycle
Have solid negotiation skills
Be an inspirational Player-Manager, a leader who teams perform for and a coach/mentor to professionals at varying levels
Demonstrate outstanding communication and organisation skills
Have an entrepreneurial flair, be highly organised and show demonstrable business acumen
The successful candidate can expect a base salary circa 60-65k with an uncapped 100-110k OTE plus an excellent benefits package and a great working environment.
