To meet demand, they have an immediate and exciting hybrid opening in London for an experienced Azure Data Engineer.

As an experienced Azure Data Engineer, you will:

Design, build and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Event Hubs, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, etc.
Create and manage Azure Data Lake Storage and Azure SQL Data Warehouse
Implement data governance and security best practices
Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements
Optimise data pipeline performance and scalability
Monitor and troubleshoot issues
Stay up to date with the latest Azure data technologies and industry trends

To be considered for this role, you will possess the following skills, traits, and experience:

Degree level education (Computer Science, IT, or related)
Azure data services, including Data Factory, Stream Analytics, Event Hubs, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and APIs
Azure Data Lake Storage and Azure SQL Data Warehouse
Data governance and security best practices
Data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL design
Programming languages such as Python or C#
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Agile development methodologies
Power BI (advantageous)
Azure certification (advantageous)

The successful Azure Data Engineer can expect:

A base salary of 50-70k
