As a Series A start-up, our client leverages best-in-class AI to drive enterprise communications. With solutions designed for Customer Support Centers, chatbots, web and mobile, their advanced AI automates questioning, searching, and information extraction. With an enviable account base that includes many leading names, they are well-placed for further rapid growth. They currently have an exciting opening in Houston for a Back-End Python Developer to work in a hybrid capacity.

As a Back-End Python Developer, you will:

Conduct code review
Write readable, scalable, testable, and reusable code
Build APIs using GraphQL for frontend and AI servers
Create modular and reusable component libraries that can be shared across projects
Design and build backend logic
Pack and deploy applications
Monitor and optimize server and database performance
Coordinate with an internal team to understand requirements, define and design software solutions
Design high-performing, high-volume applications

Applications are invited from candidates with the following experience, skills, and traits:

Data integration
Working in an Agile/Scrum environment
Cloud Architecture and threading limitations of Python
3+ years using PostgreSQL/RDBMS
3+ years within Python framework
Git, GitHub, Docker, Kubernetes, cloud deployments, and deployment tooling
Server-side templating languages (Django, Jinja 2, and Mako)

The successful Back-End Python Developer can expect:

A base salary of 123-145k dependent upon experience
