Our client, a global provider of Mobile Data Technology, is an innovative, respected and leading provider of lifecycle management and mobile forensic solutions. Through their advanced solutions, they offer a range of services to mobile operators, law enforcement and large end users. Solutions include management monitoring (transfer, backup and restore), statistics, analysis and a host of high-end forensic solutions. Due to ongoing growth within the law enforcement sector, they now have an exciting and rare opening for a Business Development Director to further develop the UK market.

As a Business Development Director working in a home-based, leadership role, you will:

  • Manage a team of 2 direct reports and carry individual and team targets
  • Drive new customer acquisitions, profitable revenue and increase customer share by building strong relationships within the law enforcement arena
  • Be responsible for leading the way into target market segments and increasing the market share, crafting opportunities and pitching high level solutions
  • Focus on new customers, but also maintain and develop an existing client business consisting of key and high-profile accounts
  • Build and maintain a sustainable pipeline of business
  • Drive UK and Ireland revenue

Applications are invited from candidates who have:

  • A minimum of 15 year’s senior business to business sales experience, specifically gained working in a high-tech environment, selling into Law Enforcement Agencies UK Wide
  • Leadership qualities
  • Proven experience in working with C-level management and budget owners
  • Experience in selling hardware/software/mobile solutions with long and complex public sector sales cycles
  • High level of commercial awareness, degree education and a solid record of articulating propositions and concepts
  • The freedom to travel

The successful candidate will be offered a 90-100k base salary with an uncapped OTE of 180-200k, plus a full and overly generous benefits package, which includes a substantial car allowance.
