Business Development Director – SaaS
100k base, 200k OTE + Great Benefits
Our client is a leading solution provider delivering a comprehensive range of Health, Safety and Workplace Risk Management services to major organisations. With an enviable client base that covers both the Public and Private sectors, our client has developed a comprehensive portfolio of professional, support, software and SaaS based services to meet with the largest of projects. With their multi-discipline capabilities in workplace risk covering health and safety, fire safety, accessibility, the built environment, emergency planning, disaster recovery and business continuity, they are well placed for further growth. They now have an exciting opening for a Business Development Director to build and lead a successful London based team.
As a Business Development Director, you will:
Work as an individual contributor whilst building and growing a news Sales Team
Look to build an initial team of circa 2 sales professionals
Carry both individual and team quotas
Target a variety of markets from SME through to Enterprise level
Build, coach and manage a high performing sales function
Collaborate with other teams and senior management
Maintain a personal portfolio of key accounts and strategic partners
Create accountability and a high-performance culture
Develop an in depth understanding of markets and the competitive landscape
Implement sales strategies and incentives
As Business Development Director, you will:
Be educated to degree level, highly intelligent and inquisitive
Possess a minimum of 3+ years proven new business SaaS sales experience
Have 2-3+ years sales leadership experience
Have previously sold into the enterprise space, closing complex sales of 6 figure value
Demonstrate business acumen, motivation and a dynamic yet professional approach to sales, leadership and revenue generation
Have first class communication and presentation skills and the ability to liaise internally and externally at senior levels
Demonstrate brand advocacy
You can expect a negotiable base salary circa 100k, with a first year achievable OTE of 200k plus additional and generous benefits.
