A premium information company specialising in actionable insights and networking opportunities. As a fast-growing company, out client has carved out an enviable position within the financial sector. Their leading intelligence provide analytics, indicators, forecasting and more to informed decision makers on a global scale. They now have an exciting opening in Central London for a Business Development Executive to focus on Subscription based accounts.
As a Business Development Manager, you will:
- Work in a new business capacity, targeting accounts throughout the UK and international markets
- Research, identify and generate new sales revenue
- Map out accounts, target new teams and expand network
- Cover a large territory with potential travel required
- Manage the full sales cycle from identification through to close and implementation
- Target a variety of sectors, including: Hedge Fund Managers, Asset Managers, Real Estate and Private Equity
- Be educated to degree level (2:1 preferred), intelligent, inquisitive and possess a minimum of 2 years’ previous consultative sales experience, gained in a closing capacity
- Possess subscription-based/solution sales experience gained in Business Information
- Have business acumen, motivation and a dynamic yet professional approach to high activity based new business sales
- Demonstrate first class communication and presentation skills with the ability to liaise with customers at all levels across a large international territory
- Have demonstrable experience in managing complex deals of varying value
- Be highly organised, proactive and have an entrepreneurial flair.
- A negotiable base salary of 35k
- A first year achievable OTE of 70-75k
