As a leading public and private sector events organiser, our client hosts multiple forums covering numerous sectors including healthcare, technology, law enforcement and education. Through enabling business engagements, delivering real-time business intelligence and first-rate benchmarking, they are well placed for further growth. They now have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Executive to join their fun and focused team.

As an internally based Sales Executive, you will:

  • Develop event revenue in line with overall company objectives
  • Work in a new business capacity, developing your own pipeline and closing deals of varying value
  • Target both SME and corporate accounts throughout the UK and beyond
  • Convert short sales cycles into leads
  • Work on a variety of events and sectors

The ideal, degree educated candidate will:

  • Possess a minimum of 12+ months’ sales experience gained in a fast-paced and driven sales environment
  • Be dynamic in approach, have high energy levels, possess drive, motivation and above all the ability to communicate at all levels of the business community
  • Have a proven record of sales success and be committed to furthering their career within a fast-growing organisation
  • Be new business focused, motivated by reward and possess an outgoing and boisterous personality

The successful candidate can expect a base salary of circa 25-30k, with an uncapped OTE of 60-70k plus an additional and generous benefits package.
