Our family owned client is a leading regional supplier of furniture to the healthcare sectors. With an ever-expanding product portfolio, a reputation for first class service and a dedicated team of employees, they are well placed for further growth. To meet demand, they now have a rare and exciting opening for a client facing Business Development Executive to be based from their Norfolk office.

As a client facing sales professional, you will:

  • Work in a hybrid role split between new and existing business sales
  • Identify, research and win business across a large territory
  • Deliver a mix of lead generation and follow-up on client referrals
  • Create and present bespoke proposals
  • Manage a growing portfolio of existing accounts, up-selling and cross-selling products
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation, through to stakeholder management and close

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have a proven track record (3+ years) of selling in a B2B field-based role (furniture, interior design, office fit-out or similar preferred)
  • Possess the ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels
  • Demonstrate excellent negotiation skills with a record of working in a high activity environment
  • Have strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Be articulate, well presented, charismatic and hungry to succeed

The successful candidate can expect a base salary of 35-40k with an uncapped OTE exceeding 60-65k in the first year. A full benefits package including an expensed car is also provided.
