Business Development Executive – Legal Information Sales
London / Hybrid
31-45k Base, 43-63k OTE + Excellent Benefits
Our technology-enabled and industry leading information client delivers intelligence, analytics, and performance data to the global legal industry. By informing, engaging, and connecting legal practitioners, this firmly established information provider helps companies of every size manage risk and drive performance. They now have an immediate opening for a Business Development Executive to be based in London 3 days per week.
As a Business Development Executive, you will:
- Identify, qualify, and close revenue opportunities with customers around the world
- Proactively sell to both new and existing customers using all available mediums (phone, email, social channels etc.)
- Manage incoming sales calls and warm leads (30% inbound)
- Manage multi-stakeholder relationships
- Prepare and deliver detailed proposals, product demonstrations and consultations
- Help develop and implement sales strategies
- Work alongside colleagues to ensure an integrated customer approach (marketing, content, product development etc.)
- Receive full and on-going training designed to enhance your sales career (initial 8-week training program)
- Degree education
- A good understanding of what is required to be successful within B2B sales
- 2+ years previous sales experience using a defined sales methodology
- Excellent communication skills and the self motivation to succeed
- A will to win and a strong desire to learn
- Highly organised, detail oriented and the ability to prioritize
- Strong negotiation skills
- An interest in law/legal sector
- Salesforce exposure (advantageous)
- A basic salary of 31-45k
- An uncapped OTE of 43-63k
