Our Series A client has phenomenal backing and an unashamedly elite executive team. With global domination on the cards and an already impressive footing, this marketplace for sports and leisure events is seeking an experienced Business Development Executive to be based in London.
As a Business Development Executive, you will:
- Work in an outbound new business capacity, targeting accounts throughout the UK
- Research, identify and generate new marketplace revenue
- Map out accounts and expand network
- Target event organisers
- Manage the full sales cycle from identification through to proposition and close
- Work closely with a client success team to implement and manage accounts
- Be educated to degree level, intelligent, inquisitive and possess a minimum of 2 years’ previous outbound B2B sales experience
- Possess sales experience gained in the events, exhibitions, festivals or a subscription-based sales sector
- Have business acumen, motivation and a dynamic yet professional approach to high activity based new business sales
- Demonstrate first class communication and presentation skills with the ability to liaise with customers at all levels across a large national territory
- Have demonstrable experience in managing marketplace type deals
- Be highly organised, proactive, have an entrepreneurial flair and solid attention to detail
- A generous base salary circa 30-40k
- An uncapped 40-50k OTE
