Our top EdTech client, a leading e-learning language training company, utilises the very latest in technology to deliver language learning solutions around the globe. Through mobile and online platforms, they deliver digital learning solutions covering the top spoken languages. Due to global growth, this award-winning company now has an exciting opening for an experienced sales professional to be based remotely in the US.
As a Business Development Executive based in the US, you will:
- Define and execute a GTM strategy for North America
- Conduct discovery meetings, tailor the value proposition & demos to meet prospects’ needs
- Manage the sales process through all stages and negotiate with stakeholders from procurement to C-level
- Maintain a healthy pipeline, keep up deal momentum and forecast with precision
- Build strong insights on the needs of target customers and work with the product team to adapt the value offering
- Identify emerging trends in local corporate language markets and build good awareness of the competitive environment
- Represent our client in local trade fairs, conferences, and events
- Utilise SDR support to generate leads and opportunities
- 3+ years (or equivalent) experience in B2B SaaS sales with a proven track record of closing deals with a contract value of $50k+
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven track record of applying winning methodologies from prospecting to close
- Knowledge of corporate L&D landscape in the USA
- HubSpot or other CRM experience
- Additional languages (Portuguese advantageous)
- Experience in Ed-tech or selling to L&D/Training/HR professionals (advantageous)
- Proficient in using MEDDIC (advantageous)
- Sales training in a winning sales methodology (advantageous)
- A negotiable 50k base salary
- An uncapped 100k OTE
