Business Development Manager

We have big plans for the business and are now looking for a fantastic Business Development Manager to join our US Operation. The BDM will be responsible for the development of the business through the acquisition of new clients, selling our full range of retained, contingency and contract solutions to clients across North America.
This is a strategic position within the business, with the Business Development Manager having considerable scope to shape our North American business, as it evolves. This is purely a business development role with no responsibility for delivery, with accounts being passed to Client Managers and Delivery Consultant, upon instruction.
Responsibilities will include:
Sale of bespoke retained, contingent and contract recruitment services
Responding to incoming enquiries and ‘hot’ leads generated through marketing activities
Arranging and attending meetings with target accounts, on a regular basis
Networking and building relationships across all Technology sectors
Attending exhibitions and events within target sectors
Account development and managing key stakeholders in high volume accounts
Identification of new opportunities within existing clients from our other divisions
Analysis and reporting as required
Proven sales experience within a similar recruitment role
Confident in leading meetings and giving presentations
Dynamic and personable with a professional approach
Entrepreneurial and urgent by nature
Confident in creation and writing of proposals
Loves face to face interaction
Degree level education with strong business acumen
Credible and dedicated to the achievement of personal goals
Drive, maturity and commercial awareness
This role will initially be remotely based.
