Business Development Manager
50-60k Base, 90-100k OTE + Great Benefits
As a leading provider of advanced analytics, our client focuses on intellectual property, patents and corporate strategy. Through class-leading domain expertise, they have developed an enviable position and service many blue-chip organisations. Due to continued growth, they now have an exciting opening for a Business Development Manager, to join their successful London based sales function.
As a Business Development Manager, you will:
Focus on developing revenue streams from within new business accounts
Manage a full and complex sales cycle (6-9 months
Identify and close opportunities of varying value with clients based throughout the UK and beyond (some international travel required)
Work in a 360 capacity from lead generation and proposal writing through to client meetings and close
Receive the support of an internal sales function
The ideal sales candidate will be:
Educated to degree level (2:1 and above) with a strong interest in technology and business affairs
A proven sales professional with 3+ years new business sales experience gained in a business information or software environment
Intelligent, inquisitive and ooze business acumen
Motivated, tenacious and dynamic with a professional approach to sales, revenue generation and career development
A first-class communicator and presenter with and the ability to liaise with senior stakeholders
The successful sales candidate can expect a negotiable base salary of 50-60k, dependent upon previous experience, with a realistic first year OTE of 90-100k plus additional benefits.
