Business Development Manager – Event Software

Our client is a fast-growing European provider of event management and planning software. Though delivering a state-of-the-art solution, our client has grown to become the software provider of choice for many private and public sector organisations, who want to deliver and manage complete events on every scale. Due to continued European growth and their desire to rapidly expand in the UK, they now have an immediate opening for a client facing Business Development Manager to be based in London.
As a Business Development Manager, you will:
- Develop and actively pursue new logo accounts
- Call on and develop relationships with prospects
- Work in a 360 role taking sales from prospect to close
- Exceed new business revenue targets
- Accurately forecast sales opportunities via pipeline reporting
- Monitor and report sales activity
- Solidify client relationships at all levels
- Liaise with internal colleagues to ensure that all accounts receive a first-class service at every touchpoint
- Move into a management position as the UK market grows
- Be educated to degree level
- Possess a minimum of 2-4 years client-facing sales experience gained in the software or SaaS sectors
- Have working knowledge (and contacts) in the events industry
- Demonstrate a consultative and professional approach to revenue generation and growth
- Have high levels of motivation and first-class communication and presentation skills
- Be hungry, collaborative, confident, innovative but able to work autonomously
