As a class-leading company, our client specialises in analysis, insight and research with an emphasis on emerging market information. Their leading intelligence and services provide advanced analytics, indicators and forecasts to help clients make better, more informed decisions on a global scale. They now have an exciting opening in Central London for experienced, solution led Business Development Manager.

As a Business Development Manager, you will:

  • Work in one of many available vertical markets (finance, insurance, public sector, education or corporate tec.)
  • Develop prospects into pipeline business through cold calling, networking and leveraging contacts
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead development through to onboarding and account growth
  • Deliver compelling face-to-face or WebEx product demonstrations
  • Travel as required

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be educated to degree level
  • Be intelligent, inquisitive and possess a minimum of 2-3+ years’ previous solution based, new business sales experience (media, information, sponsorship, recruitment, technology etc.)
  • Possess business acumen, motivation and a dynamic yet professional approach to new business sales
  • Have first class communication and presentation skills and the ability to liaise with c-level contacts across a large geographical territory
  • Demonstrate a strategic mindset, a proven record of sales success and career stability

The successful candidate can expect a negotiable base salary of 35-40k dependent upon prior sales experience, with a first-year achievable OTE of 55-60k plus additional and generous benefits.
