Business Development Manager – Cyber Security Solutions

As a privately owned Cyber Security specialist, our client provides class-leading compliance and protection solutions to organisations of every size. From large SME to the very largest of UK Brands, they deliver enterprise-grade access management, task automation and recording solutions. Due to continued demand for their services, they now seek an experienced and new business focused senior sales professional to cover a lucrative territory.  

As a client facing Senior Business Development Manager, you will:

  • Develop and implement an appropriate sales strategy to meet agreed new business revenue and sales targets within commercial accounts
  • Identify, grow and nurture major sales opportunities, schedule and attend appointments with prospects, deliver accurate forecasting and continually develop your sales pipeline
  • Work with the assistance of an internal sales team generating warm/inbound leads
  • Manage the sales cycle from identification through to close (3-6 months)
  • Win orders of varying value with organisations throughout the UK and beyond

The ideal candidate will:

  • Possess 2-3+ years experience in a client facing, corporate sales role where the emphasis was on Cyber Security
  • Sell at senior levels, understand buying criteria and possess the communication and presentation skills to liaise and influence at board level
  • Have excellent self-management skills as this role requires autonomy, accountability and responsibility
  • Be a true new business hunter with a strong desire for uncapped, 6 figure earnings
  • Have a good technical understanding

The successful candidate can expect a base salary circa 50-75k with an uncapped OTE of 100-150k plus an additional and generous benefits package.
