Our firmly established client is arguably the UK’s leading Marketing Automation Company. From lead generation and nurturing through to email marketing and customer lifecycle management, they deliver cross-channel results in a fully managed environment. To meet demand, they now have an exciting opportunity for a UK based Business Development Manager to target SME accounts.
As a Business Development Manager, you will:
- Focus on the generation of new revenue streams
- Identify new business opportunities through the generation of leads, referrals and prospects. Internal sales support is provided
- Cover the entire sales process from research through proposals and presentations and onto deal closure
- Approach and secure accounts within a variety of sectors
- Manage sales pipelines
- Organise and attend in-person meetings
- Plan, prepare and deliver compelling product demonstrations and sales presentations
- Work with colleagues to create successful strategies
- Possess a minimum of 2+ years closing sales experience
- Have a strong interest in marketing technology
- Have a consistent proven record of new business target achievement
- Demonstrate complex sales closure
- Be highly motivated, driven by success/money and have an entrepreneurial approach
- Demonstrate first class communication and presentation skills with the ability to liaise and influence at every level
- Be articulate, mature in approach, smart, professional and a good team player
- Have a thirst for knowledge and career/personal growth
- Have a customer-centric approach
- A base salary circa 40-50k
- An uncapped first year OTE of 80-90k
