As a global leading marketing technology business, our client delivers content syndication solutions to billion-dollar brands and retailers. Ensuring global brand consistency, our client empowers brands to create and share engaging global content. To meet demand, they now have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager to target new accounts.
As a Business Development Manager, you will:
- Work in a new business capacity
- Focus on the generation of new revenue streams within existing accounts (40%)
- Identify new business opportunities through the generation of leads, referrals and prospects (60%)
- Cover the entire sales process from research through proposals and presentations and onto deal closure and account management
- Approach and manage accounts within a variety of sectors
- Manage sales pipelines
- Organise and attend in-person meetings
- Plan, prepare and deliver compelling product demonstrations and sales presentations to existing subscribers
- Work with colleagues to create successful sales strategies
- Possess a minimum of 4-5 years hybrid sales experience gained in Martech, eCommerce or SaaS
- Have a strong interest in marketing technology
- Be a proficient user of Salesforce
- Have a consistent proven record of target achievement
- Demonstrate complex sales closure
- Be highly motivated, driven by success/money and have an entrepreneurial approach
- Demonstrate first class communication and presentation skills with the ability to liaise and influence at every level
- Be articulate, mature in approach, smart, professional and a good team player
- Have a thirst for knowledge and career/personal growth
- Have a customer-centric approach
- A base salary circa 60-65k
- An uncapped first year OTE of 100-105k
