Business Development Manager – PaaS

Our client’s award-winning hybrid cloud connectivity platform provides the link between traditional networking infrastructure and cloud services. This trailblazing company has an impressive public and private sector account base where it delivers PaaS, PSN to Cloud and unique Managed Services. Due to continued growth, they now have an exciting opening for a Business Development Manager to drive new business activity.
As a Business Development Manager, you will:
- Focus on the generation of new revenue streams from within public and private sector (financial services is beneficial) accounts
- Identify new business opportunities through the self-generation of leads, referrals and prospects, and also through an internal SDR function
- Cover the entire sales process from lead generation through proposals and presentations and onto deal closure
- Have open access to an entire portfolio of hybrid cloud solutions
- Work with both product and marketing teams to develop and deliver new sales strategies
- Be of graduate calibre
- Possess a minimum of 3+ years new business sales experience
- Have sold within the telecoms, cloud services or SaaS-based sectors
- Have a proven record of new business target achievement
- Be highly motivated, driven by success/money and have an entrepreneurial approach
- Demonstrate first class communication and presentation skills with the ability to liaise and influence at C-Level
- Be articulate, mature in approach, smart, professional and a good team player
- Have used Salesforce previously
- An initial salary base of 50-60k
- An uncapped and very achievable OTE of 100k+ in the first year
