Our innovative, start-up fintech client delivers a class-leading electronic payments platform. Through their easy to integrate and robust payments platform, they deliver real-time/instant transactions on a European scale. Due to planned growth, they now have an exciting opening for a Hertfordshire based Business Development Manager.

As a Business Development Manager, you will:

  • Join an international team focussed on changing the payments sector
  • Generate, execute and drive forward the sales function
  • Create and continually develop the sales strategies 
  • Utilise industry networks, securing appointments and winning business
  • Negotiate and execute contracts, taking full control of the commercial process
  • Network at a senior level to generate new leads and new business opportunities
  • Manage a sales budget and support the marketing function to drive interaction at industry events 
  • Assist the CEO in setting reasonable KPIs and providing periodic reports that address them.
  • Travel throughout Europe and North America

You will:

  • Possess a minimum of 5+ years selling B2B payment services/platforms
  • Have in-depth knowledge of FasterPayments (UK), SEPA Credit Transfers (EEA), and ACH (USA)
  • Be autonomous, consultative and professional in approach, have high levels of motivation and first-class communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrate specific knowledge of one or more key business sectors: GIG Economy, Payroll, Lending, Platform Development, Accounts Payable and Receivable, International Commercial Banking etc.
  • Show career stability, constant progression and a proven record of sales success (hunter mentality)

The successful candidate can expect a base salary of 60-70k with an uncapped OTE of 110-140k plus additional and generous benefits.
