Our client, a leading Financial Information provider, delivers opinions, insights, analytics, events, and more to the financial and professional services sectors. Covering a variety of markets, this diversified business is set for continued global growth. To meet demand, they now have an immediate and exciting opening for a Business Development Manager to be based in New York City.
As a Business Development Manager, you will:
- Drive subscription and license-based revenue
- Identify, research, and qualify prospect accounts
- Develop key stakeholder relationships
- Arrange and deliver platform demonstrations
- Close opportunities of varying value
- Work closely with colleagues (SDRs, management, etc.)
- Travel to key events
- Account manage a growing portfolio of won accounts
- 2+ years previous B2B solution sales experience
- Subscription / research-based sales experience (required)
- Proven sales success
- Full sales cycle experience (lead gen to close)
- First-class communication and presentation skills
- Attention to detail
- Flexibility, multi-tasking, and steady under pressure
- A great personality, work ethic, and drive
- Strong hunter skills
- A base salary of 70-90k
- A realistic OTE of 150k
