Channel Sales Executive – Telco/SaaS

Our client, an established tech company, is a leader in remote worker cloud security and communication solutions. Their innovative and next-gen VPN/network access technology is disrupting the market. They are well-positioned to take a significant market share and to achieve growth across the EMEA region, they now have an exciting opening for a new business-focused Channel Sales Executive with SaaS/Telco sales experience.
As a client-facing Channel Sales Executive, you will:
- Develop and implement an appropriate channel sales strategy to meet agreed new business revenue and sales targets
- Focus on a specific high-value vendor
- Manage and grow a channel territory through proactively prospecting new channel opportunities
- Identify, grow and nurture major sales opportunities, schedule and attend appointments with prospects, deliver accurate forecasting and continually develop your sales pipeline
- Lead strategic deal-making
- Retain and manage all account wins
- Collaborate with international colleagues
- Develop deep relationships internally and externally
- Manage 50+ opportunities per quarter
- Train and enable key partner teams
- Travel throughout the UK (25%)
- Possess 2+ years’ experience in a client facing, channel sales role where the emphasis was on Telco or SaaS solutions
- Demonstrate a proven record of target achievement and sales success
- Enterprise software exposure
- Understand buying criteria and possess the communication and presentation skills to liaise and influence the channel
- Have excellent self-management skills as this role requires autonomy, accountability, and responsibility
- Be a commercially aware, new business hunter with Salesforce user experience
- Be a problem solver, self-motivated and able to multi-task

- A base salary circa 45k
- A first year uncapped OTE of 80k
