As a leading publisher, our client is renowned world-wide for publishing a series of e-journals specialising in 16 different pharmaceutical/medical/therapeutic areas. They currently reach over half a million subscribers globally. Through the use of product reviews, symposium reviews, e-newsletters and adverts, they help companies market products and services to an ever-growing global audience of relevant healthcare and pharmaceutical professionals. 6 years on from the release of their first publication, they continue to grow and are currently looking to hire a Content and Editorial Administrator

As a Content and Editorial Administrator, you will:

  • Attending relevant conferences in London and other European cities. Using this as an opportunity to network, gather content ideas and interview thought leaders
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders in the industry, using them as resource and help when creating content
  • Research trends within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Write creative and challenging articles
  • Proof and edit your own work as well as that of your peers
  • Arrange and execute interviews with senior industry leaders (video, article or podcast format)
  • Work with the rest of the editorial team on the timelines for upcoming issues
  • Help create and write additional collateral such as promo videos and email campaigns
  • Assist the Journal Editorial Team by commissioning journal content, researching/sourcing articles, abstracts and features

The ideal candidate will be:

  • In a similar role, with 1 years experience in creating content and writing creatively for a brand
  • Comfortable and confident with networking and interviewing senior industry leaders
  • Organised, able to handle tight deadlines and prioritise when the workload is high
  • A team player who can assist other team members with their needs while also completing their own work
  • Proactive, self-reliant and able to think on your feet
  • A quick learner who is open to having a role that varies day to day

The successful candidate can expect a negotiable base salary of 20-22k plus additional benefits.
