Our client, a dynamic social media and digital marketing agency, focuses exclusively on reaching the Chinese consumer. With offices in London, New York and Beijing, they are well placed to work with iconic brands within the fashion, luxury and hospitality sectors. Their growing portfolio of international brands utilises our clients experience and knowledge of branding, marketing and digital solutions within China, to tap into the ever-growing Chinese consumer market. They now have an exciting opening for an English / Mandarin speaking Account Manager to be based in London.  

As a London based Account Manager, you will:

  • Be responsible for handling all day-to-day client communications (pivotal contact between client and production team (Digital Strategists/Social Media Managers))
  • Deliver client satisfaction on each account
  • Digest and understand client commercial considerations / developing internal briefs
  • Lead the presentation of project, campaign and concept pitches to clients
  • Secure sign-off and hold overall responsibility for managing timelines and ensuring projects are delivered to deadlines
  • Act as cultural consultant for clients
  • Help key client stakeholders to understand the challenges, opportunities and nuances of building a brand in modern China
  • Identify and present new business opportunities through new industry sectors, services or additional revenue streams

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be a fluent English and Mandarin speaker
  • Possess 2+ years’ experience in-house or at an established branding, digital or PR agency
  • Have a deep understanding of Chinese culture, with an emphasis on trends in modern mainland China
  • Be well-versed in China digital platforms and trends, particularly WeChat and Weibo
  • Have experience of pitching strategy, content and creative concepts to clients

The successful candidate can expect a base salary of 30-35k with an OTE of 45-50 plus a generous benefits package.
