Our client is a leading, family-owned provider of conferences, summits, and international events focused on a variety of key sectors. Through providing a vibrant mix of well-attended programmes, our client delivers invaluable networking opportunities. Due to continued growth, they are now opening a new NYC office and have an immediate opening for a junior Events Coordinator.
As a Junior Events Coordinator, you will:
- Take ownership of the logistical aspects of allocated events
- Liaise with speakers, sponsors, and delegates
- Manage venue sourcing (research, identify, negotiate, book, and manage)
- Manage event budgets
- Manage pre and post-event reporting (success measurement)
- Build and manage function sheets and floorplans
- Previous exposure to the conference industry
- Previous experience running multiple events
- Negotiation skills
- Strong relationship skills

- A base salary of 50-55k
