Our client is a fast-growing, highly visible, and well-respected commercial finance company with hubs across the world. This FinTech company provides embedded software solutions for the worlds leading and largest e-commerce platforms (eBay, Shopify, etc.). Due to North American growth and increased global demand for their merchant financing solutions, they now have an exciting opening in Atlanta, Georgia for a KYC Team Leader to build and manage a new function.
As an Atlanta-based KYC Team Leader, you will:
- Build, supervise, and drive a team of AML/KYC executives
- Ensure timely completion of projects and goals in accordance with engagement and client requirements
- Focus on continuous improvement of the Operations team, identify the need for training and coaching process improvement
- Audit and monitor Executive’s work to ensure quality and efficiency
- Conduct quality control of the KYC team as needed
- Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to executives to drive performance
- Organize and review production and quality data
- Contribute to developing individual and Operation team goals
- Coordinate with the Operations team leads in the development of training, resource, and policy and procedure documents
- Coordinate with management, when necessary, to manage team member performance
- Be the point of contact for KYC-related queries
- A minimum of 1 year’s supervisory experience in a KYC/AML environment
- A minimum 3+ years in a financial services compliance or related role
- Strong understanding of KYC subject matter, basics of CDD and EDD Investigation review, and basics of SAR preparation including the ability to understand and apply relevant regulations implemented by national and international regulators
- Ability to be flexible, quickly learn new skills and meet uncompromising quality requirements and production expectations
- Demonstrated competency with computers

- Strong processing and analytic skills with the ability to analyze large amounts of data, decipher higher risk attributes, and handle appropriately
