Our clients leading and award-winning quantitative analytics software streamlines asset selection, portfolio construction and risk management. Working with many of the world's largest pension funds, asset managers and sovereign wealth funds, their due diligence platform is well-placed for further growth. They currently have a 6-month contract opening for a Power BI Developer.

As a Power BI Developer, you will:

Lead a project transforming reporting solutions using Power BI and other data visualisation tools
Design-build and deploy BI solutions – Create "Hands on" interactive dashboards converting clients’ existing reports from Excel to Power BI
Support in the design, documentation, and implementation of an overall BI solution for the end clients\users
Be the point of contact for all things related to Power BI
Lead and define the company’s Power BI adoption across various business lines and departments
Provision high-level work estimates and other planning information to project managers
Identify and recommend improvements and enhancements to the existing Power BI Connector/ API
Collaborate with the development team to enhance functionality to improve performance and scalability
Explore and develop strategies to integrate with other data visualisation tools i.e. Tableau, QlikView and QlikSense.

The ideal Power BI Developer will possess the following skills, traits, and experience:

Extensive experience with the Power BI Premium Platform, SQL, and DAX
Knowledge and experience of common software development methods and the full development lifecycle
Excellent time management/organisational skills. Able to multi-task and adhere to short deadlines
Strong initiative/results orientation. Must provide evidence of achieving/exceeding targets and goals.
A curious and analytical mindset with a natural ability to solve problems efficiently
Self-Starter and able to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment
Highly motivated with a proactive attitude
Excellent communication skills
