Pre-Sales Consultant

Our client’s award-winning hybrid cloud connectivity platform provides the link between traditional networking infrastructure and cloud services. This trailblazing company has an impressive public and private sector account base where it delivers PaaS, PSN to Cloud and unique Managed Services. To meet their growth initiatives, they have an exciting opening for a Pre-Sales Consultant to support sales engagements.
As a Pre-Sales Consultant, you will:
- Be the “first boots on the ground” and help build out a pre-sales function
- Work closely with Sales Team Members to scope requirements and create bill of materials
- Position products, solutions and services
- Drive new customers, new projects, and existing relationships
- Produce and maintain high-quality documentation for complex technical solutions
- Design and deliver multi-tiered applications, including designing changes to existing services
- Drive the process from initiation and design through to implementation
- Participate in architecture design reviews and other technical governance forums
- Assist in defining and maintaining architectural, security and technical standards
- Move into a leadership role as the pre-sales team grows
- Be a technically adept Consultant with multi-year pre-sales experience
- 5+ years networking and network security experience
- 3+ years cloud fundamentals and architecture experience
- Telco sector experience
- Disciplined and structured
- Hungry and ambitious
- First-class communication and presentation skills
- Proven record of success
- A base salary of 60-70k
- An uncapped OTE of 80-90k
