Our client is a leading solution provider delivering a comprehensive range governance, risk management and compliance solutions to major professional service organisations. With an enviable client base, our client has developed a comprehensive portfolio of SaaS-based services to meet with the most demanding of regulatory and/or compliance challenges. They now have an exciting opening for an experienced Pre-Sales Engineer to join their fast-growing London based team.

As a Pre-Sales Engineer, you will:

  • Build relationships and trust with key technical decision makers within assigned accounts mainly in the Global Investment Banking sector
  • Liaise typically within trading technology & Infrastructure teams
  • Provide pre-sales technical engineering and implementation support
  • Identify and develop opportunities for further integration in the client’s environment
  • Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge and positioning of the company’s products and technologies
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of industry trends and competitive products
  • Maintain up-to-date technical information on all sales opportunities
  • Participate in and be involved in applicable industry trade shows and conferences
  • Feedback product enhancement and new feature requests to PM’s
  • Work closely with PM & Support teams on all product related enquiries

As a Pre-Sales Engineer, you will demonstrate:

  • Extensive industry experience including in pre-sales (working as part of a high-tech solution sales team)
  • Strong presentation and communication skills (C-level)
  • Ambition to learn new technologies and products to a high degree of detail and expertise
  • A highly Sales focused approach
  • Analytical and good problem-solving skills
  • Drive, a great attitude, organizational skills and a self-starter mentality
  • The ability to work effectively in a sales team environment
  • Exceptional skills in sales presentation
  • Strong business acumen and exceptional organisation skills
  • Collaboration skills
  • Proficiency with Salesforce and Microsoft Office products
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field

Experience from a start-up / early stage company (preferred)You can expect a negotiable base salary of 55-85k, with additional bonuses and generous benefits (medical, dental, life, disability, EAP and so much more).
