Pre-Sales / eCommerce Manager
Remote – UK, Spain, France, Germany, Sweden, Netherlands
50-60k Base, 62-72k OTE + Great Benefits
Our client is a rapidly growing provider of cloud-based e-commerce software. Through providing a one-stop solution that enables retailers and manufacturers to integrate, manage and optimise their merchandise sales across numerous online channels. They continue to set the standard, on a global scale, for best-in-class technology and they currently have openings across Europe for a high-performing Pre-Sales / eCommerce Manager.
As a Pre-Sales / eCommerce Manager, you will:
- Work closely with the sales team, from discovery to contract stage helping convey the value proposition by acting as the eCommerce and Marketplace expert
- Work with a broad range of prospective brands and retailers across the UK and Europe, learning about their goals and challenges
- Conduct opportunity and benchmarking analysis
- Create well-structured and designed presentations that are clear and persuasive
- Show a clear passion about the eCommerce space and its developments
- Act as a subject matter expert and thought leader in your market
- Field ad hoc technical inquiries from prospective clients regarding product functionality, industry strategy, implementation options, and/or full-service processes
- Lead consultative engagements with Brands and Enterprise Retailers on the technical and business challenges related to their Marketplaces and eCommerce initiatives
- Be up to date with market trends and ecommerce news
- Provide Sales Executives with product, channel, and industry training
- Participate in cross-functional internal discussions to ensure that Sales needs are being met throughout the organisation
- Present high-level overviews of the Integration Capabilities
- A demonstrable track record of success within a mid to enterprise level E-Commerce organisation
- Previous experience in working within a multinational Brand (preferred)
- Proven experience of working with recognised global Marketplaces (Experience of Amazon and eBay)
- Confident speaking in front of an audience and in public
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work with little instruction
- Pre-sales or Consultancy experience (preferred)
- Knowledge of APIs and XML (preferred)
- Knowledge of eCommerce industry platforms/systems (preferred)
- Must be willing to travel (typically a few times /month)
- A base salary of 50-60k
- First-year achievable OTE of 62-72k uncapped
