Sales Director – Event Software
London / Remote
60-80k Base, 100-120k OTE + Executive Benefits
As a global leading provider of event management, planning software and associated services, our client delivers a state-of-the-art solution and has grown to become the software provider of choice for many private and public sector organisations. Covering virtual, hybrid and in-person events/meetings, this scalable platform manages complete events on every scale. Due to continued growth, they now have an immediate opening for a Sales Director/Head of Sales to be based in/near London.
As Sales Director, you will:
- Manage, lead and grow a sales function
- Build and nurture a world-class sales team
- Report to the CEO and play an active role in developing commercial strategy
- Analyse and drive sales performance
- Deliver both new and existing business revenue targets
- Take a hands-on approach with meetings, RFPs, proposals and demos
- Identify and grow strategic partnerships
- Collaborate with customer success, marketing and other functions to drive process and commercial success
- Degree level education
- 5+ years sales leadership in a SaaS-based environment
- Proven record of sales team growth/target achievement
- Forecasting, pipeline development and sales funnels
- Operational knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM solutions
- Consultative and professional demeanour
- Salesloft or other sales enablement tools
- Reporting and productivity
- Highly analytical and detail-oriented
- Collaborative and confident
- Excellent communication skills
- A negotiable base salary of 60-80k
- An uncapped OTE of 100-120k in the first year
