Sales Director – L&D
Belgium / Remote
90k base, 180k OTE + Excellent Benefits
As a hot tech company, our client has leveraged advanced AI and Machine Learning to develop a well received L&D platform. This well-funded company is set for phenomenal growth through the build out of their sales function. They currently have an exciting opening for a skilled Sales Director to lead a Benelux wide, mid-market/enterprise sales team. This is a remote role and can be based anywhere in the Benelux region.
As a Sales Director, you will:
- Lead the current sales team (10 heads) with a remit to grow as required
- Manage the team through KPI development, 1-2-1s and regular sales coaching
- Work closely with senior management on developing and implementing best practices and sales strategies
- Set and achieve ambitious goals
- Support the team in closing deals
- In this classic hands-on sales leadership role, cover all aspects from headcount planning to sales training, recruitment, client presentations, reporting and much more
- Be an ambitious sales leader with a proven record of leading high-performance sales teams
- Possess 5+ years of relevant enterprise sales experience (L&D, Tech, SaaS, Software etc.)
- Have experience running the entire sales cycle
- Demonstrate an adaptable management style
- Be an inspirational Player-Manager, a leader who teams perform for and a coach / mentor to professionals at varying levels
- Demonstrate outstanding communication and organisation skills
- Have an entrepreneurial flair, strong negotiations skills and demonstrable business acumen
- Be available to travel Europe wide (20%)
- An initial base salary circa 90k
- An uncapped OTE of 180k
