£80-100K Base, £110-120k OTE + Executive Benefits

Our client, an established tech company and arguably the leader in global cloud security, delivers content security and threat management solutions to organisations of every size. With client, server and cloud-based solutions, they are well based for further growth. To meet demand. They now have exciting openings across Europe for Sales Engineers.

As a Sales Engineer, you will:

Deliver presales support across the portfolio
Manage RFP and Bid management support
Design solutions and high-level architecture
Provide consultative product and solution expertise
Install and configure solutions during a POV
Identify system integration requirements and work with partners to deliver solutions
Work with company technical support personnel to ensure ongoing quality of relationships
Collaborate with product SME’s and product management teams to identify and realise technical improvements to the products
Contribute to departmental best practices, strategies, methodologies, and documentation, for increased efficiencies

The ideal Sales Engineer will possess the following skills and experience:

5+ years presales experience and/or professional services experience
5+ years experience in Security (Malware detection, Intrusion Detection, Content Security and/or Endpoint)
Proven experience of success in information security, working with enterprise accounts and successful history in winning projects and overseeing their deployment
Work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment under minimal supervision
Provide software/network troubleshooting on complex technical issues
Understand Malware and the techniques and methods to counter/prevent attacks
Windows and Linux experience
Strong IP networking solution knowledge and skillset (e.g. Cisco CCNA, CCNP or equivalent)
Strong knowledge of virtualisation technologies (VMware, vSphere)
Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS.
Strong knowledge of enterprise security technologies such as endpoint and server
Firewall and IPS experience
Working knowledge of Network Security
Exchange, AD and SQL experience valuable

The successful Sales Engineer can expect:

A base salary circa GBP £80-100k
A first year uncapped OTE of GBP £110-120k
