They are an organically grown business that prides itself on the quality of its work and has an abundance of client success stories. To accelerate their expansion across North America, they have an exciting and immediate opening in Boston for an experienced Sales Manager
Role Overview:
- Build and lead a team of Business Developers and Account Managers
- Develop and execute a North American sales strategy
- Drive and deliver high activity levels
- Act as a Player-Manager undertaking your own sales activity
- Line manage reports and deliver sales quotas
- Work with senior management to resource and expand the North American Commercial Team
- Identify and act upon team knowledge gaps
- Prepare and present reports to senior management
- 7+ years sales experience with 3+ years in a sales leadership capacity
- Consultative sales experience (information, market research, event sales)
- Full sales cycle
- Degree education
- Prove record of sales success (individual contributor and team targets)
- Intelligent, ability to build rapport and personal relationships
- Autonomous, energetic, and driven
- Knowledge or interest within the environmental, health and safety, and sustainability space, is desirable
- Demonstrated ability to recruit, train and retain over-achievers
- 160k Base
- 230-250k uncapped OTE
