Our client, part of a FTSE listed Information provider, delivers arguably the largest global event for the Telco sector. Their annual event attracts over 7000 delegates, 2000 companies and hundreds of exhibitors and held at different venues all over the world. Through growth, they now have an exciting opening for a Sales Manager to lead a performing sales function.

As an Events Sales Manager, you will:

  • Lead a small but successful sales team of 3
  • Achieve in excess of £2million of event revenue
  • Build and maintain close relationships with key stakeholders (Event Director, Operations etc.)
  • Lead by example in winning and closing key warm sales
  • Manage, develop, motivate and monitor sales team performance
  • Deliver a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Travel to events

The ideal candidate will:

  • Possess a minimum of 3+ years proven sales leadership experience gained in a dynamic B2B environment (events, exhibitions, telco preferred but not essential)
  • Possess the leadership skills to further develop and established sales function
  • Have first class communication and presentation skills
  • Be degree level educated
  • Possess exceptional attention to detail
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn about the Telco sector
  • Be flexible, multi-tasking and steady under pressure

The successful candidate will be offered a base salary of 40-50k with a realistic OTE of 65-80k plus additional and generous benefits.
