Through fun, accessible and effective technical learning experiences, they have a grown the platform and now help millions of users bridge the technical skills gap. To stay at the top of their market, they now have an exciting opening for a Senior DevOps Engineer to be based in Berlin.

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will:

Be responsible for engineering security processes and tools for deployment, database management and server management, etc.
Secure sensitive workloads utilizing cloud technologies and best practices
Own the development and deployment of infrastructure
Manage instrument monitoring solutions to gain insight into application performance and emerging security issues
Understand the engineering needs and make sure that each engineering project is set up with the correct security frameworks and considerations
Drive a security-conscious culture
Proactively scan and patch systems for security vulnerabilities
Support the overall software engineering team with any issues
Investigate to determine the root cause of security incidents
Participate in 24x7 on-call support and maintenance activities

Senior DevOps Engineer applicants require the following skills and traits:

Experience in DevOps / System Administration (ideally 3+ years, with Linux experience)
Ability to work in an agile environment and collaborate with other teams/groups in a fast-paced & entrepreneurial company
Proficient in building and working with Docker containers
Expert understanding of Linux and shell scripting (Bash & PowerShell)
Full DevOps practice integrating Github/Gitlab based version control, automated builds, and release management CI/CD of both UI/React Web and Backend/.NET based Microservices applications
Code analysis & coverage tools such as SonarQube or Snyk
Kubernetes cluster
IaC using Cloud Formations or Terraform
3+ years Azure deployment and maintenance experience
Fluency with Python or Bash

The successful Senior DevOps Engineer can expect:

A base salary circa 80-100k
