Senior Director of Channel – Cloud

150-170k Base, 250-300k OTE + Excellent Benefits

Our client, a leading hybrid cloud data services and data management company is headquartered in California. A member of the Fortune 500 and highly respected around the world. As a leader in network/data storage, cloud computing and information management, they are well placed for further growth. To build upon their enviable position, they are currently seeking a UK based Senior Director of Channel

As a Senior Director of Channel, you will:

Evolve and execute the UK/I Channel strategy/plan through a team of Channels Sales Representatives
Orchestrate a cross-functional team including marketing, distribution sales, commercial sales, and channel systems engineers
Protect, manage, and grow the existing channel business
Improve and deliver a GTM Strategy for the Channel
Target, recruit and onboard a set of specialist cloud partners.
Capture “new wallet” and “buying centres” in Enterprise Applications, Cloud DevOps and AI
Increase presence, visibility and relevance into a targeted set of Global System Integrators
Build a “low touch” velocity sales engine to drive growth in the commercial market
Be the voice of the UK/I to support the evolution and development of channel partner programs
Coach, mentor and develop the team to support a “high-performance sales culture”

The ideal Senior Director of Channel will demonstrate the following skills, traits and experience:

12+ years vendor based cloud/SaaS experience
Extensive leadership experience
Demonstrable and proven record of target achievement and sales success
Complete understanding of buying criteria
Communication and presentation skills to liaise and influence at C-Level
Excellent self-management skills
Commercially aware
Highly knowledgeable on cloud connected storage, PaaS and IaaS
Superb relationship building skills
Demonstrate sound knowledge of the channel

The successful Senior Director of Channel will be offered:

A 150-170k base salary
An uncapped OTE of 250-300k
