Service Management Analyst
Market Rate

We are currently recruiting for a Snr Service Management Analyst to work for a Global Banking Group, based in Central London. This contract will run for 3 months and possibly longer.

Working as part of a Service Management Team you will be responsible for: 

  • Providing support and advice for Wintel platforms including VMWare
  • Maintaining market data infrastructure Bloomberg, Reuters RMDS via Nederland and local Reuters installations i.e. Dealing
  • Citrix, Wintel server and desktop platforms
  • Providing support for systems relating to Internet access and security
  • Providing Remote Support
  • Analysing and resolve problems
  • Liaising with users to ensure fast and satisfactory problems resolution
  • Proactively looking for way to automate and improve services and implement solutions
  • Investigating and develop methods for performance optimisation
  • Testing and implementing upgrades to hardware and applications
  • Providing 1st/2nd line voice support for Cisco and IPC technologies

The following skills and traits are required: 

  • Change management
  • Market Data
  • Good knowledge of Active Directory
  • knowledge of MS Exchange
  • Citrix / VM Ware and SSL remote access system
  • Experience of App-V
  • In-depth knowledge of SCCM application deployment software
  • In-depth knowledge of Print Server
  • knowledge of Wintel systems (Servers and preferably desktops)
  • Understanding of and adherence to Change control procedures
  • Knowledge of Market Data and Trader Support including Bloomberg, Reuters RMDS
  • Knowledge of Amulet and Blade Infrastructure
  • Restore/backup proven knowledge
  • Knowledge of business application support, Automation (Monitoring and Management) Cisco and IPC Voice
  • Knowledge of Financial Services
