As a leading sports, fashion, media and events business with operations around the globe, our client delivers innovative and cost-effective event, exhibition and hospitality packages. Through offering clients direct access to world-class events, they have developed an enviable account base and impressive portfolio of well received, internationally acclaimed events. They now have an immediate opening for a Sponsorship Sales Manager to sell content and sponsorship packages from their West London office.
As a Sponsorship Sales Manager, you will:
- Develop strategy to deliver new business sales, utilising leads, referrals and an extensive CRM system
- Carry out account management duties with the opportunity to up-sell and cross-sell
- Be responsible for maximising all potential revenue to achieve/exceed event targets
- Identify target brands, establish new relationships, and sell across an expanding and exciting event portfolio
- Proactively lead source from all mediums.
- Mentor, motivate and coach colleagues and maintain, develop and manage a sales database
- Retain the integrity of events by adhering to set processes and through maintaining a high yield
- Travel to events
The ideal candidate will:
- Possess a minimum of 3-4+ years proven sales experience gained in a dynamic B2B environment (Events, Sponsorship, Recruitment, Media, Tech etc)
- Possess the business acumen to lead contractual negotiations with clients of every level
- Be outgoing, driven and self-motivated
- Have first class communication and presentation skills
- Be degree level educated
- Possess sound leadership skills
The successful candidate will be offered a base salary of 30-35k with a realistic OTE of 45-50k plus additional and generous benefits.
