Our client, a leading provider of cloud-based accounting solutions, deliver scalable services for mid to enterprise level businesses throughout the UK and 30+ other countries. Their market leading position has been built through product innovation, world-class support and a feature-rich platform. To stay at the top of their game, they now require a Technical Support Consultant to be based in London.

As a Technical Support Consultant, you will:

  • Deliver 1st and 2nd line support services on a highly respected cloud-based accounting and business solution
  • Provide telephone based consultancy guidance
  • Respond to customers on a proactive basis, chiefly by telephone
  • Monitor outstanding support issues and provide support-based statistics/analytics
  • Escalate issue that can’t be resolved or replicated
  • Assist in the production and maintenance of appropriate end-user documentation

The ideal Candidate will:

  • Be a recent accounting, business studies or computer science graduate
  • Have 12 months technical support experience
  • Have excellent and confident communication skills - both verbal and written
  • Ideally, have knowledge of general accounting and business principles
  • Possess a general understanding of Mac, PC and other client operating systems
  • Have detailed knowledge of SQL (preferred)
  • Be an advanced Microsoft Office user (particularly Excel)

The successful candidate can expect a generous base salary of 25-35k plus an additional benefits package.
