With their focus on eCommerce, our scale-up client is revolutionising the international logistics sector. Through their all-in-one cloud-based software, they allow both small business owners and global brands to accelerate borderless commerce. To meet expectations, this truly global company has an exciting opening for a VP of Marketing to be based in London.
As VP of Marketing, you will:
- Build and lead a global marketing team consisting of acquisition, retention, loyalty, brand, partnerships, and creative marketers
- Develop and execute the marketing plan across all channels (email, paid social, direct mail, organic, search)
- Develop a loyalty program to drive retention and high customer LTVs among the customer base
- Analyze KPIs related to marketing performance, media results, and promotional campaign results to forecast potential revenue tied to marketing efforts
- Partner closely with product, design, and sales teams to integrate customer marketing programs into all customer touchpoints
- Set & manage eCommerce calendar, product launches, and all online promotional campaigns in tandem with the operations team (peak season and other holiday promotions)
- Work closely with C-Level Executives to achieve quarterly and annual goals
- Take projects from concept to testing through to implementation
- Utilise multiple digital channels and creative techniques to move leads down a funnel
- Run creative and effective lead gen techniques from email, search, sponsorship, direct marketing, social, and online events
- Continuously develop, pilot, and scale unique lead generation campaigns
- Develop unique outreach strategies including SEM, Display, OOH, SEO, Comms, Partner Marketing, Email, Events & Product Marketing
- Identify and develop the tools, platforms, resources, and processes needed to find lead information
- Track and report on the success of marketing campaigns and lead generation metrics
- Creative thought-leader biased toward action
- Hands-on and take action to see your ideas move forward
- 8+ years of experience in a marketing role at a high B2B growth company or early-stage start-up (SaaS preferred)
- eCommerce / retention expert with a deep understanding of online shopping behaviour, user experience, retention, driving sales through efficient marketing programs and conversion optimisation.
- Customer centric marketer with a deep understanding of developing and marketing consumer brands
- Managed a substantial marketing budget of $40M+.
- Strong track record of creating successful inbound/outbound marketing campaigns, sourcing leads, and running multichannel marketing campaigns
- Data driven leader who can track, report, and analyse
- HubSpot, Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Facebook Ads, SEO, SEM and prospecting platforms
- Experience in the e-commerce (advantageous)
- Creative problem solver who thrives with ambiguity
