VP of Sales – L&D

160-180k base, 280-300k OTE + Excellent Benefits
As a hot tech scale-up company, our client has leveraged advanced AI and Machine Learning to develop a well-received L&D platform. This well-funded company is set for phenomenal growth through the build-out of its sales function. They currently have an exciting opening in the US for a skilled VP of Sales to lead a regional sales function.
As VP of Sales, you will:
- Lead the current sales team with a remit to grow as required
- Develop and implement sales plans and strategies
- Target the mid to enterprise sectors
- Lead by example selling alongside your team (first 12 months)
- Manage the team through KPI development, 1-2-1s and regular sales coaching
- Work closely with senior management on developing and implementing best practices and improvements
- Set and achieve ambitious regional goals
- Analyse and report on competitors, activities, and forecasting
- Grow and inspire the team through knowledge transfer
- Maintain key stakeholder relationships
- Become a thought leader and company speaker
- Be an ambitious sales leader with a proven record of leading high-performance sales teams (SaaS/Software preferred)
- Possess 12+ years of relevant sales experience with at least 5 years in sales leadership
- Have experience selling to HR, Talent or L&D departments
- Demonstrate an adaptable management style
- Be an inspirational Manager, a leader who teams perform for and a coach/mentor to professionals at varying levels
- Be familiar with the entire sales cycle
- Demonstrate outstanding communication and organisation skills
- Have an entrepreneurial flair, strong negotiations skills, a can-do attitude and demonstrable business acumen
- Be willing to travel
- An initial base salary circa 160-180k
- An uncapped OTE of 280-300k
