As a Technical Business Analyst, you will support global market participants in adopting innovative solutions like the Common Domain Model (CDM) and Digital Regulatory Reporting (DRR) extensions. This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with industry leaders, develop cutting-edge models, and shape the future of financial technology.
Technical Business Analyst responsibilities:
- Become a subject matter expert on CDM and DRR solutions.
- Assist members with business analysis, data mapping, and technical queries related to CDM and DRR.
- Contribute to CDM data model extensions based on member feedback.
- Write user documentation for newly developed code.
- Represent member interests in working groups and open-source communities.
- Maintain a product development roadmap aligned with industry needs.
- Manage project responsibilities to support member adoption strategies.
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across the financial sector.
- Collaborate with trade associations, service providers, and technical leads.
- Provide feedback to enhance product features and adoption strategies.
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably in finance, engineering, or technology).
- Strong proficiency in Java (essential) with experience in related technologies like JSON, XML, and GitHub workflows.
- 3+ years in financial services, focusing on technology-driven business analysis or modeling.
- Experience in financial product and derivatives modeling, including hands-on development.
- Knowledge of collateral management and regulatory reporting processes.
- Strong requirements-gathering skills and the ability to articulate technical solutions clearly.
- Expertise in DevOps and working with IDE environments like Eclipse or IntelliJ.
- Exceptional communication, relationship management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proven ability to adapt to changing priorities, demonstrate initiative, and deliver results.
- Knowledge of open-source technologies and communities (desirable).
